Year in Review


Every so often a year comes along that changes the course of direction. 2012 was a year like that on many levels. It's a good thing! It was a year of artwork commissions for me as well. Here are some highlights. This pastel was a sample piece I tried for a "new process" I thought up. I was wanting to make chalk pastels bigger than the paper I could find, and on panel. Worked out pretty nicely I think.

50th Spring

Seems like most of the adjustments occurred during the 49th year, so that now it's just a matter of settling into this new phase I find myself in. Not that I particularly "embrace" these changes, but there appears little choice but to read the facts as best we can and go on with it.

New Skills!

This spring I made the computer switch to Macintosh Operating System so that I could take a class from Justin James Reed in Mac Media. The new skill sets are thrilling, and the possibilities enormous. Almost ready to post my first "Video montage..."
